It’s the month of love

on February 3, 2011

so, tell me, what is your favourite love story?

Are you a ‘Wuthering Heights’ type of romantic? Or more along the lines of Jane Austen? A fairytale? Romeo and Juliet? Twilight?  Something more recent perhaps?

Well, I would love to know. February is the month of love and what better way to celebrate than remembering your favourite love story?  And one lucky reader will win their very own copy to keep for themselves or to give to their favourite special someone.

All you need to do, is tell me in the comment section

a) what your fave love story book is

b) Why, out of all the others this one stands out for you.

You have the entire month to do this in and at the end of month, one lucky reader will be a ‘love story winner’.

  1. Favourite love story book – In Death series by J.D. Robb, starting with Naked in Death.

Why I love the books – It’s romantic, it’s gritty, it appeals to my fantasy life but also the characters are so grounded you don’t feel that they’re unrealistic… And it stands up to re-reading months later without feeling “same old, same old”

I read a variety of Christian fiction and they have romance/love stories but none of them top my all time fav book… that one is rather called “Roommates” by Katherine Stone… I picked it up years ago in a bookstore in Bethlehem and keep going back to it as a great read…. I’ve never found another book by the same author so think it was a once off well written story. The story has a few angles to it and is just such fun … she loves him… he loves her… they don’t meet up… and then the happy ever after… nothing is predictable.
